Our Story
This company was founded by Datin Zaiton binti Abdul Rahman. She’s grew up in a family with a background in catering services. Her late father, Hj Abdul Rahman bin Markom the founder of HS CATERING which has been operating since 1970 in Kluang, Johor
From the experience she gained, now she comes forward her own business. Zai Sri Gemilang Restaurant was the 1st restaurant operational on 1 August 2004 located at Seksyen 8, Shah Alam. Continued with Zai Sri Gemilang Restaurant (2011) at Seksyen 7, Shah Alam and Sri Gemilang Café (2013) located at Seksyen 7, Shah Alam.
In May 2014, Restaurant Zai Sri Gemilang was registered to Zai Sri Gemilang Sdn Bhd in preparation to expand catering business to a further level. The main activity of this company is catering service for various events and corporate.
In 2021, Datin Zaiton binti Abdul Rahman was successfully launched Zai Event Sdn Bhd office located at Seksyen 7. Managing her own office, warehouse, kitchen and catering equipments with 90 full-time employees. With all these facilities, Zai Event able to provide the best service to all the customers. For about 20 years, Datin Zaiton has been directly involved in terms of marketing, food preparation and kitchen work.
Now, Zai Sri Gemilang Sdn Bhd well-known established business catering with corporate, government and private companies. Our clients mostly are from corporate MBSA, SUK Selangor, Sime Darby Plantation Agro-Bio, PUSPANITA, University of Mara Technology (UiTM), Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers, Selangor Industrial University (Unisel), Selangor Police Contingent Headquarters (IPPK), Selangor Bar Committee, Maybank, Worldwide, Football Association of Selangor (FAS), Daikin and UMW Toyota.
